ZF's 'Mechatronics' unit is the heart and bloodline system of the GA6HP19Z automatic transmission. It contains a complicated valve body system with many valves, seals, and fluid passages. It is common for the automatic transmission to encounter issues and need service. Replacement of the ZF Mechatronics unit may be required.
